Private beta terms

Use Thesis responsibly.

These terms keep the beta useful, honest and safe while Thesis is being tested with students, societies and early users.

Last updated 14 September 2026

1. Private beta access

Thesis is currently a private beta. Access may be limited, changed, paused or removed while the product is being tested.

2. Forecasting and education only

Thesis is not a broker, investment adviser or trading platform. Content on Thesis is for educational forecasting practice and should not be treated as personalised financial advice.

3. Your forecasts

When you submit a forecast, your position, confidence, reasoning and future versions may become part of an immutable track record. This is central to the product: forecasts should not be submitted unless you are comfortable with them being preserved and scored.

4. Honest use

Do not manipulate scores, impersonate others, submit misleading profile information, scrape the service, attack the platform or use Thesis for unlawful activity.

5. Moderation

Thesis may hide, reject or remove content, restrict accounts or adjust access where needed to protect users, scoring integrity or the beta community.

6. AI-assisted question drafts

Some forecast questions may begin as AI-generated drafts. Human moderation is required before publication, and final resolution rules should always be reviewed before you forecast.

7. Beta reliability

Thesis is still being developed. Features, scoring, rankings, questions and availability may change. The aim is to preserve forecast integrity, but beta data may require correction if bugs are discovered.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Notice explains what Thesis collects and how beta data is used.

9. Contact

During beta, contact Eddie through the invite channel, LinkedIn or your university society contact with questions, bug reports or removal requests.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the private beta.
